The primary flying field is to the west of town, off Highway 160 at Vista Blvd (a right turn just past the used car lot, then see the second image, below). The field can be used at any time, but there is always someone flying on Saturdays and Sundays before noon.

Take Vista Blvd to Port ave, turn left and proceed to Lake St, turn left again and the entrance to the parking lot is just after where Lake St makes a right turn. Please don't park on Lake St, as the typical landing approach to the runway crosses Lake St at a very low level.
